Despite his thoughts on the episode I really liked the episode myself.

Seems he liked the episode just a bit more than me. I liked how he made fun of the fact that Pepper has yet to get an episode this season. Granted, she got plenty in season 1 so we'll see what happens. I also loved his reaction to Jasper making an appearance because I honestly reacted the same way. He was such a tool, as usual in this episode.
But I think he's more forgiving of Sunil's superhero subplot than I was. I was really looking forward to it and the promos and screenshots offered a lot of possibilities, but the progression was just so predictable that I saw how it was going to play out very early on. I get that the writers decide to do whatever they want, but they have surprised us before and I was expecting the same from this. I have never been able to predict the outcome of an LPS episode as easily as I did this one so watching the subplot actually kind of bored me. That's not to say that I thought this subplot was awful, just incredibly underwhelming for me personally. That being said, I still absolutely love Sunil. He was written in-character and he did get some memorable moments such as the facial expressions and reactions he made to the bugs in the beginning of the episode (as Russell Reviewer pointed out).
It seems he and I have different complaints with Blythe's subplot, but I think I enjoyed it just a little bit more, if anything for how they resolved it. I do agree with his nitpicks though. The rest of the pets really got the shaft in this episode for no reason. What were Pepper, Zoe, Minka, and Vinnie doing the whole time? We know some of them were there at the Day Camp, but what where they doing offscreen? Also, yes. Why couldn't the Sweet Truck just go for the second best spot? Is it really that much of a drop in quality? They really didn't NEED to force the Blythe vs The Biskits rivalry again for the umpteenth time.

Littlest Pet Shop is overall pretty entertaining and a good fanbase to be socially invested in.

Well, Sweet Pepper was... well, the main plot was very similar to Simple Ways from MLP:FiM this same week. two cartoons with Tabitha St. Germain voicing a lovestruck character who drastically changes her outward appearance and mannerism to impress a suave, cultured guy.

I just saw both the actual episode as well as the review for the episode and I liked it but the episode is too similar to Simple Ways which coincidentally came out the same day.

Both the episode itself and the review for the episode itself are just ok.

Ok so I finally saw the episode and the only part I liked about it was Blythe imitating The Biskits to get people to vote for her.

This episode really didn't interest me at all.
First off, am I the only one a little burned out by all the constant traveling? The characters have gone to Paris, Shanghai, Rio, there's going to be a camping episode, and then there's the Pet Expo coming up all in the same season. Look, I'm not saying the character shouldn't travel as it is nice to get out of the shop every once in a while, but this just feels like too much, too fast. I would like it if Blythe and the pets traveled more gradually over time instead of taking a big trip seemingly every other episode. I wish they had spread out these trips more, maybe even pushing some into next season. Otherwise, they should've just made this season a tour around the world while they're at it.
In regards to Minka's song, I honestly think it was kind of bland and boring. The beat just sounded too much like Vinnie's song from Big Feathered Parade and the lyrics were just about the generic flora and fauna of the jungle. There was really nothing there to spice it up. I actually felt kind of bored listening to it. Again, not saying it was a bad song, just probably one of my least favorites.
I'm sorry but Ramone is such a forgettable throw-away villain who really did not need to come back at all since all he seems to do is try to copy Blythe. A grown man stealing ideas from a teenage girl. That's really pathetic. I get that being pathetic is his gimmick, but that really only works once. I really don't see the appeal of him doing the exact same thing again. But Ramone isn't all to blame. The variety in villains in this show is really poor, especially when compared to MLP. The writers have been relying WAAAAAYYY too much on the Biskit twins this season. They've been spammed every single episode where there is an antagonist and while their stupidity and the absurdity of their actions were humorous at first, they really need to come up with new ways to write the Biskit twins or introduce someone else altogether because it's starting to get old. They at least tried with Ramone, but I really don't want him to become the automatic default antagonist for when the Biskits are absent. I really wish the show would introduce more pet antagonists instead of constant human ones. The show is called Littlest PET Shop. The only ones we've really had are Sharuhk and the alligator guy, who reformed in the end so he technically isn't an antagonist anymore. We need some more variety here.
Back to the episode though, I'm not saying this one was flat-out terrible, but it has just been yet another forgettable one for me. Unfortunately, season 2 has had quite a lot of these. But then again, it has also had some ones I have enjoyed quite a lot so it's not all bad.
