I certainly enjoyed it. It strongly featured Sunil and Russell which is a plus to me. ^_^

That guy is not going to be reviewing any more episodes after the finale... I can think of two reasons why. School is one of them, seeing as he talked about starting college soon enough.
Well, someone did say they were going to take his place. I hope he can do a good job - and that Season 3 gets some better reception for those willing to stick around, that is.
At the end of the day, however, that all depends on if this show can still deliver at this point. Good luck with that.

First off, I'd like to say that I enjoyed watching Russell Reviewer's reviews of seasons 1 and 2 of LPS and I feel sad that he's ending it there. I hope the new guy who'll replace him will do just as good of a job reviewing season 3.
Second, who's this Mandopony I've been hearing about?

First off, I'd like to say that I enjoyed watching Russell Reviewer's reviews of seasons 1 and 2 of LPS and I feel sad that he's ending it there. I hope the new guy who'll replace him will do just as good of a job reviewing season 3. Second, who's this Mandopony I've been hearing about? As his friend, I talk to Russell Reviewer quite often and it's kind of sad really. He really didn't like reviewing season 2 looking back, not just because of his criticisms for each episode, but more because it grew to feel more like a chore than anything else to get a video up every single week. He didn't get the time to sit back and just enjoy the episodes as they came. He's looking forward to just being able to enjoy season 3 without any pressure to get videos done in a timely manner. He still enjoys the show though. We'll casually discuss episodes or characters here and there. But it's nothing too formal or structured. I'm not entirely sure what Russell Reviewer is going to do now. I think he has some ideas though. He wants to change his username since he doesn't review anymore, and while we've been brainstorming some new usernames, nothing has really stuck so far so it's a work in progress. He has expressed interest in making more group videos with me and our other friends with us holding discussions and playing video games together and such. I'd imagine he'll want to start some of them up once we're all out of school for the summer. I'm not sure how much LPS content will really be featured in his videos from now on, though. As for the new guy SunilNation98, he's a very nice guy and I think he wants Russell Reviewer, myself, and our friend RegularGuy to join him in some of his episode reviews. I don't think any of us are really sure at the moment if we'll be able to or not though. We'll have to wait and see. I have checked out his content so far and while I do think he has some room for improvement, he's just starting out. He'll probably get better at developing his own style over time with practice. Mandopony is a pretty big name within the MLP fandom on Youtube. He's a musician who does a wide variety of MLP covers and original songs. I really enjoyed his content back when I was big on MLP. Since my interest in the show has kind of wavered since then however, I haven't kept up with his content for a while. |
