Hopefully Blythe's mom is alive. It would be great to see her. Even if she's just in a photograph Blythe walks by.

I would like to see her stop by either LPS or Blythe and Roger's apartment above LPS i'd get the feeling she'd also be voiced by Asheligh Ball.

Yes it would. She surprises Blythe! It would be funny if we found out she owned one of the pets!

The more I hear about the idea of Blythe's mom still being alive and showing up in a Season 2 episode or a episode from a unannounced Season the more I want her to actually show up in the show somehow I doubt it's going to happen though. (sad sigh)

The way the dad acts I'd almost be certain he's a single parent apposed to divorced. He's responsible for almost every aspect of Blythe's life, he's kind of over protective of her, and he seems almost like he's trying to fill both rolls. Also with him being a pilot and constantly flying allover if it was a divorce Blythe likely would have went to her mother unless she is just as busy I guess, but it just doesn't feel like a divorce situation to me. Also if Blythe had a mom she'd need to know when Blythe flew off to a camp for the summer and would probably be more involved in that, and more involved with her daughter in general. I could be wrong though.

You have some good points there, kio. Maybe her mother lives somewhere else?

As far as the Biskits my guess is that there mom is not dead or divorced. I think it is that she is a busy business women who has to travel a lot or something and as such we've only seen their dad so far. Again who knows though, but it just doesn't really seem like either situation to me.
It's possible that she lives very far away Russell and somehow it was just easier for her to be with her dad. Who knows.

I hope she's alive...but a part of me tells me she's not.
Here's another (very far-fetched) idea. What if Blythe's adopted?
