So one thing people say MLP has is good continuity. Not only of events, like mentioning how they defeated Nightmare Moon in the season 2 premere, etc., but in character development. In season 3, Twilight Sparkle is not as much of a control freak or paranoid like in "Lesson Zero" or Fluttershy is not as cowardly and timid as she was before.
Does LPS have that same continuity? One obvious example is Russell after "Russell Up Some Fun", he said he was not going to as uptight and fun Russell might show up every now and than, while I think we have seen a difference in Russell, he is little less tight widened than he was before, best example is "Trading Places", he something completely reckless and un Russell like.
I think Penny Ling has learned not to be such a pushover, maybe in the early episodes how she was to quote Fluttershy a doormat, well I don't see much of that anymore.
As for events, I think we saw continuity in "Door Jammed", continuity from "Dumb Dumbwaiter", with Blythe's calm deminner, because she has been there before. And to her, being trapped in a large bathroom is a big improvement over a cramped dumbwaiter.
So does LPS have good continuity? What are examples of when LPS showed continuity.

It has good continuity! Especially when Aunt Christie was in the first epidode looking to buy LPS and make it a sweetshop!

All of the continuity that Penny listed along with the Aunt Christie thing that Russell mentioned are all great examples of continuity in LPS.
