"Sunil's Sick Day"
I love this episode, more Sunil and Vinnie, I love it. I love how they kept throwing us curve balls, when it looked we figured out why they were fighting, we find out that wasn't the reason. And Shirlock Russell, awesome.

This was an episode where both plots were directly intertwined with each other which I think does better than episodes that have sub-plots that are unrelated to a degree. Honestly, I think the whole concept of two characters having totally different sides of the same story seems like a tired idea to me, but I did think it was funny how each side claimed the other was doing the begging to watch Vinnie dance. I also think the Sherlock Russel parts added pretty well to the episode. I would also like to point out that it illustrates very well how important it is to give someone the benefit of the doubt which was what Sunil and Vinnie did for each other at the end. The very last moment of the ending was also very cute.
I think this episode could've had a different title to suggest that it focuses on both Sunil and Vinnie and not just Sunil but it's really not worth complaining about.

As a huge fan of the Sunil and Vinnie bromance, I really enjoyed this episode. One of the best ones I've seen in a while. Not sure if I like it more than Alligators and Handbags or not yet, but this one is definitely up there for me. The two of them were adorable and hilarious together as well as on their own. I liked how the two subplots were interwoven around the same conflict like in Alligators and Handbags with Blythe and Russell taking on the same role and even sharing the same reactions. I think I've decided that I prefer when the subplots are similar or work together to reach a resolution instead of them being divided and having nothing to do with one another. On top of that, the song was fantastic and I thought Sunil's and Vinnie's evil interpretations of each other when they were telling their sides of the story were hilarious. Vinnie being a mindless dance nut who throws a tantrum when nobody watches him dance, and Sunil being an evil sorcerer lol. I think the only weak aspect of the episode was Minka's involvement at the very end how she *spoiler alert* was the one who stole Vinnie's tap shoes. I got really invested in where this mystery was going and I was a little disappointed that they chose to resolve it by shoehorning in a joke like that. The fact that this episode was building up to a big reveal deserved a much bigger payoff imo.
Still, one of the better episodes I've seen this season.

I agree but i'm not sure what other title the episode could have been given do you have any suggestions or ideas? Maybe they could've called it "Sunil and Vinnie's Spat" or something. I dunno really, I just think "Sunil's Sick Day" sounds a little inaccurate because it seems to imply that it's about Sunil being sick when that wasn't the focus of the episode, especially since Sunil wasn't even sick at all. I think the only weak aspect of the episode was Minka's involvement at the very end how she was the one who stole Vinnie's tap shoes. I got really invested in where this mystery was going and I was a little disappointed that they chose to resolve it by shoehorning in a joke like that. The fact that this episode was building up to a big reveal deserved a much bigger payoff imo. I like to think the main resolution of their squabble was when they realized they skewed a few details and eventually realized they were being too hard on each other while Vinnie getting his shoes back was icing on the cake. But yeah, I do agree that was a rather lame way to reveal what happened to the tap shoes. It practically begs the viewer to ask themselves why Minka couldn't have just blurted it out while Russell was interrogating Vinnie. They could've at least made Minka absent throughout the episode until the end where she appears with the shoes, then it would've at least been less silly and made more sense. If I were edit the writing of this episode, I would've had Mrs. Twombly receive a second call right after the first, this time from Minka's owner explaining that Minka won't be at the pet shop either because her owner has a "bring-your-pet-to-work" day. Then have Minka show up at the end of the episode with the shoes saying that she borrowed them. Maybe even add a funny bit where her owner decided to bring her to the pet shop after all because Minka's tap-dancing was driving her co-workers nuts or something.

You think so? Thanks, although I could probably come up with a better one if I really brainstormed, but like I said, it wouldn't really be worth it since it's just a title and titles aren't really all that important anyway.
EDIT: Screw it, I was bored anyway...

This week's episode "The Hetchhog In The Plasstic Bubble" was awesome. I just love the role reversals here. You have the two most sensable normal characters here Blythe and Russell just completely lose it, and it is up to the other pets who are normally nutty to be sensable and fix the situations.
I empathy with Blythe getting all caught up in a book, I do that sometimes, if comics and manga count. But yeah she went over the edge.
As for Russell he just felt guilty for hurting his friends. But his ideas of avoiding hurting them was hillarous.
Every main character in this series contributely great in this episode. This is the closest a perfect episode when it comes to utalising the characters.

"Standup Stinker"
This was an excellent episode. I don't know about you guys but I liked the Minka plot just a bit better. Her little fantasy space adventure was awesome. And the part with Sunil, that was comedy gold.
Meanwhile Pepper and wanted to be a comdian, but she can't talk to humans, so Blythe is going to be her puppet. It is a funny plot, though they keep ignoring Blythe's stage fright, is that still a thing.
LPS is great when they are just goofing off, and now try to tell a over the top story, hopefully they learned a few things for next season. Remember season two was made when season one was still airing, so they did that without any feedback. Next season will be a test to see if they give a dam about what we think.
Next week, two part finale, I have seen it, it feels a lot like "Magical Mystery Cure", kind of a possible series finale feel. Till than.

I love the sound of that... If this show wants to improve after its overall reception with the current season. I can only hope there are people working on this show reading forums like these, as it would really help if someone listened to us about the positives and negatives of this show - in order to make it more watchable, enjoyable, and complaint - free, if that's even possible.

Russell nearly breaking down in tears in the plastic bubble episode got to me. Poor baby. I thought his plot was much more sympathetic than Blythe's. Blythe was just being a hypochondriac while Russell actually had something to worry about with his quills hurting his friends.

"The Pet Fashion Expo"
Okay finale time, and with all these clips this felt like a series finale, it is like the writers didn't know they were going to do anymore, so let's make this like a series finale just in case.
I though Sunil crush on Delila was cute, though weird they are different specie. How does that work? And I thought it was unintentional hillarous when Emma said she wished she was a dog. I doubt that was an intentionally inside joke, but still funny to me. Zoey finally learned to be less selfish, that is great.
I love the fourth wall breaking by Delila, that was awesome. The first song wasn't that great, but the second one was awesome.
Again with the whole coroporation are evil, I know sometimes they can do unethical things, but if the world was mom and pop stores we would just be a third world country. Super stroes, they are so evil. Yeah whatever.
The Biskits did something compident, the world is coming to end. Hopefully this is final defeat, I am sick of them always being villain this season, come on writers give me something. Hopefully now that they have found Ramon, maybe be the main villain, and Biskits can be the neutral comic relief characters that should have morphed into by now.
Okay season 2 was made when season 1 was airing, so season 3 will be the first season in which they will have fan feedback before they make it, so let's see if they give a dam about our opinions

Knowing the fans are less positive than this review of yours... Which I more than agree with - A 3rd season may be their real last effort to do some things to make this show stand out better than it has.
Though given the franchise's bad reception in terms of sales and products - I give this show one more season and then wave goodbye to it (for those who still care), unfortunately.
Business is cruel like that, after all.
