I've been looking around some art sites for any LPS fanart...and I couldn't help but notice quite a lot of SunilxPepper fanart (or "Sepper" fanart as I've seen some people call it).
There's still a lot of episodes I've yet to watch being a new fan still and all, so are there any episodes that seem to hint at it at all? Or is it all just a completely fan-made pairing that some artists ship just because it looks cute? (Which I have to admit does look kinda cute, but I really only support canon love interests)

I think it's pretty much fanmade and fan-driven. To my knowledge, the only interaction Sunil and Pepper have had so far over the course of both seasons is when they held hands and danced together briefly at the end of Gailbreak.
Other than that, there really isn't much romantic interaction between any of the characters on this show. So I guess that leaves the fans to improvise and use their imaginations. Even though the SunilxPepper interaction has been minor, it's really been the only one we've seen so it's the one fans flock to.

Personally I see Sunil and Penny more but thats just my opinion Expo Factor seems to hint at it; Sunil complimenting Penny on her cuteness and Penny mentioning the pillows at the bottom of Blythe's kiosk being "so soft, just like Sunil's belly.....Did I say that out loud?" But then, this is also the same episode to introduce Delilah, a new love interest for Sunil. The chemistry between these two seem to work very well to the point where I support it more than the other two pairings. |

It's just fan nonsense - it's a shame not much comes of Delilah x Sunil - because I see nothing ever coming of any main pet being with ANY MAIN PET. This show won't benefit from such drama, unless it's done well - unless some better writers come to the table, I know it won't work.

it's a shame not much comes of Delilah x Sunil Don't forget, Delilah only very recently appeared in the show so the pairing is still a little too new for the fans to run with it. We might see something in time. |

You know, I'm starting to think the writers may be trying to ship Sunil and Penny Ling together. They've had more interactions together than he and Pepper have had since Gailbreak. Penny Ling was the one who came to help Sunil in "Lights, Camera, Mongoose!" she was also the one who wanted to help build Sunil's confidence by making him believe he was a superhero and she was his sidekick in "Super Sunil," Penny Ling hugged Sunil of all pets during their "Power Rangers" reference in "Alligators and Handbags," and then there was her comment in Expo Factor about his belly. It seemingly came completely out of nowhere lol. I have to admit though, I think Penny Ling would be a better fit for Sunil than Pepper. Not that I have anything against Pepper, but Sunil and Penny Ling are the two quiet, shy characters so they have similar personality traits that would make them compatible. I think the writers could make this shipping work if they drop some more hints towards it in season 3. I don't think there was really anything serious going on between Sunil and Delilah. She seemed completely indifferent towards him throughout the entire finale. I think Sunil crushing on her blindly was only meant to serve as a running gag. |

its nice to see someone else notice this, I haven't been watching the show long but when
i go back and watch other episodes she seems to always be the one helps Sunil out in anyway she can, I hope they do more with the two of them

I used to excitedly look at this ship, and still have some deviantART pictures in my Faves... but I have calmed down about it.
Other than the Gailbreak thing...
Something that I am willing to admit about it is that I also largely only liked it because they have similar physical physiques/ body shapes. The are both long and slender, with tails, and are both about the same size. Plus their colors look good together.
Relationship-wise, Penny and Sunil are objectively better based on Season 2.
