This is to show the new palette for Donut Plains. It is modified here, filling the Downtown Park slot, which I think is a perfect fit. Any ideas?

That definitely matches the color scheme of the show. Looks easier on the eyes.
Maybe it could use a few extra features to make it a little more 'parky', or something from the show, but I don't know how feasible that is. Also, maybe there could be some variation in the track, but that's all optional, it looks really good as it is.
How will the background look BTW? Since Downtown Park is in Downtown City, it would do well to have a city skyline.

Donut Plains has a pretty colorful background to work with anyway, so it shouldn't be too difficult to copy over the buildings in Downtown City's skyline. Also, that track is just there to show off the palette. It's really just placeholder. I'm working at the moment on ripping most of the sprites out of the game so I can edit them. The palette can be edited, so I'll take advantage of that. I'm also trying to think of a kind of font to use in the menus. I was thinking something more rounded, but then again, that PROBABLY won't work with the SNES hardware. Something else- To save space in the original game for the copyright stamp, the game uses the 9 as a repeat in (C) 1992 Nintendo in the year, hence having the 9 only appear once in the files. It's cloned. Meaning if we put a year now, it would show up like (C) 2114 or (C) 2004. The second and third digit have to be the same. Doesn't mean you can't change the number to a letter, or remove everything entirely there. That's why I used 'Cool Sarger' in SMK8, because I really couldn't do anything else. Notice the cool at the bottom there? Yeah, that's because of how this game works. As I said, I could either cut that out entirely, or move it up to the title card.

Fonts? Hmm...would there be any way to import fonts from other Mario games? Including Mario games from other consoles? I found this guy's DeviantArt site which has a whole bunch of fonts: perlerdavid.deviantart.com/gallery/45939376/FontsHe also has this site: www.dafont.com/david-fens.d5063Not sure if these are any help, but I thought I'd throw them in here just in case. Meh, no need for a copyright date. I'd rather that be left out anyway. And yeah, you could make your name part of the title graphic if it helps.

Other Mario games on other systems? Nope. In fact, I can rip the fonts from any SNES game, as long as it has documentation. However, SMK uses this text quite small on menus unlike some other SNES games so it would be kind of difficult. And nope, not putting my name on there. I'll instead credit this website.

Good luck. That's pretty neat ^_^ I personally have been avoiding using roms as of late due to personal decisions, but I'd love to see videos of what you make! I could also try to suggest some ideas. The blocks that you get the power ups from could be something.. maybe Blythe's pet backpack ^_^ A track themed after the big feather parade could be cool, and there could also possibly a track where varying segments are based off of the different countries Blythe visited with the pets in season 2 prior to the expo. The expo itself could be a track too, given it was fairly important. Maybe some unlockable vehicles could look like a small version of the sweet delights trucks and Blythe's scooter. I definitely think Monban should be an obstacle on some track, and maybe a large cobra too ;p Just a few ideas.
