If MLP did some sort of LPS reff, the bronies who hate on LPS will go off their rockers. A lot got annoyed when LPS did My Smal Squirrle....so I cant imagine how much they will react to seeing LPS in their show. This. If the producer(s) of either show knows a thing or two about either fandom, they'd be able to guess the repercussions of making the decision of such a crossover. As far as I can guess, there would be minimal positive reception. I'd hate to have this show itself develop a stigma. The crossovers mentioned thus far were leagues less controversial than the mere thought of an MLP/LPS crossover, so using them as substance to the discussion is unfortunately irrelevant. You've got to take into consideration that MLP's fandom is times larger and more obvious than any of the shows mentioned here, probably combined. So, in all, I see it being very, very unlikely, if ratings are of concern. But if it happens, they should pray that they make it work. The backlash I'm imaging about such a decision is absurd. Would be much safer if they did nothing further than the allusion (My Small Squirrel 'nd all that). I know both of these fandoms far too well. |

(like ponies going into downtown then LpS them)

If it was a two-part episode, then maybe the theme song will depend on the POV's. If it started with the ponies' POV, then the first episode would have the MLP.
