Except Pinkie Pie is more controlled crazy than Minka. Also PP likes to make people laugh, and that's Pepper's job. Not Minka.

I love Buttercream. So yes, I do consider her to be a part of the eightth pet, though I sometimes wish she was more than just a recurring character. It be real nice if she was added officially to the show more so we can see her all the time like the rest of the other pets we've seen.

I've only seen about 13 episodes so far and only one episode with Buttercream because it played out of order. I've just found it on Netflix so I'm trying to catch up at least with Season one. So I'll have to wait to give a better opinion in a bit. But the Blythe pretty much says she's a new friend in episode 15, "Topped with Buttercream," so I think it's a safe bet to say she's the 8th friend.

If there ever needs to be an 8th pet, I think it should be male to even out the gender ratio. We already have a hyperactive female character and Minka fills that role well (even though I'm not a fan of her). I would love it if a male fennec fox character joined the cast.

A fox character would be awesome. Buttercream's cool and all, but I think I like her better just being a recurring visitor every now and then. Besides, as Canzetyote already mentioned, it would be nice to even the gender ratio. |
