(I didn't want to spoiler tag it all though.)
I used to read these books, they're for 8-13 according to my bookstore. But after glazing through some pages of the first book collection, I realised how violent it is for someone 7-9 (I've heard 7 year olds reading it) If you've read it, do you find it violent for somebody below the age of 10?
It's basically about these cats who fight to survive. They're like cat warriors. Being the dog lover I am, I heard Survivors was coming out by the Erin Hunters, so I quickly read a page and realised how this book was a step down from the violency of warrior cats.
It does deal with some mature stuff, like a young cat was brutally killed by a dog I think, and the other cat had part of her face ripped off. She watched in horror as that cat was brutally murdered. Oh and one book this evil cat ripped open the stomach of another cat, killing him with nine lives to spare. Another evil cat killed his dad, kicked his mom out of the "clan" (There's a ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and Shadowlcan. ) and he made little kits die from being trained to early.
If you like Warrior Cats, so did I. But, I feel it's violent...

I know. Also, the fanart nowadays is very bloody, gross, etc. When I was reading it the goriest things where Scourge with 1 bloody paw. Now it's guts spilling out of Tigerstar as Scourge killed him.

I really like warriors actually. I accept the gore and blood in the books (SPOILER --->)But I don't think ill ever accept Firestars death in the Last Hope ;-; but other then that good books im almost done "The New Propacy Warriors: Midnight" as well :T
