Since people want to know how to post an avatar, then please follow this tutorial
Step 1- Get an Imageshack/Photobucket account
Step 2- After creating your account hit upload, you may be faced with these depending on what you chose
Step 3- Upload your photo, when it's done find it in your gallery. Click on it and find the direct link, copy that.
Step 4- Go to your profile on the forum, go to edit your profile then paste your direct link. Fix the sizes to your liking. I usually like using 100x100.
Step 5- Save your profile and enjoy your new avatar!
