Character Discussion: Sunil Nevla

Couldn't find a thread on him so I decided to post one as he's my favorite character.

So, what do you think of him? There's just something about Sunil that makes me just want to hug him and go "aww....poor thing, everything will be all right, don't be scared." It broke my heart when he started crying in the Stay Here Forever song. Some people say Penny is the most sympathetic pet but I think Sunil is by far the most sympathetic.

He has such adorable gold eyes and he's so entertaining with his cowardly antics and his accent. Plus, he's able to use a hypnotic gaze and when cobras are involved, he becomes tough as nails and someone who I would want as part of a zombie apocalypse team. Just tell him the zombies are cobras and watch him rip them apart.

And above all, despite all his cool supernatural attributes he avoids being a Marty Stu due to his human personality. He's not invincible at all and he's got flaws, but they never get on my nerves. If anything, his flaws somehow make him more endearing.

Sunil is definetly my favorite male pet.

After having watched more episodes, I've come to really like Sunil to the point where he's almost tied with Russell as my favorite pet. For now, he's become a very close second. He may be cowardly and prone to mistakes, but considering what he's been able to do he has A LOT of potential. He seems to be the only pet capable of supernatural abilities such as hypnotizing, disappearing and reapppearing, and possibly psychic reading. Out of all the pets he has the best hobby by far and it's one that can take the show a long way.

It's really hard for me to pinpoint what exactly I love about Sunil so much.

Even though Sunil is the typical shy/quiet character that's afraid of his own shadow, he at least doesn't act like that all the time. In fact, he's been branching out of it into a more comfortable state a lot more often as episodes have progressed. He's been developed so much to the point where I barely associate him as this character type at all. He can perform magic, hypnotism, teleportation, and then there's his transformation when the word "cobra" is mentioned. I'd say Sunil is one of the most diverse and interesting characters on the show and I'd love to see more focus on him, even though I know it won't happen for the sake of balancing the show.

Also, Sunil is too. Freakin. Adorable.
