Well they haven't made Josh as an important character, so he expendable as things stands now, so it is just as possible they can write him off and have him move away as much as they would put him and Blythe.
They need to flesh out his character more, right now he is a Gary Sue boring character, Hasbro has a history of writing poor male love interests for their female cartoons, check in point Rio Pacheco a guy who came of as a jerk to me, hopefully he is not another Rio Pacheco.

I thought Josh was a pretty interesting character and I would love to see him again in Season 2.

I vote yes on this poll, because as far as love interests go in TV shows, especially in cartoons, they always find a way for their main character to hook up with their crush at the end. They just have to find a way to flesh out Josh more so we can get to know him a bit more.

I think it would be a possibility, though I do hope they flesh him out and make sure he has faults just like Blythe herself. I wouldn't mind him having odd talents like cooking or obsessively clean, something that would be a little different for most boys his age. We got little glimpses in season one, he likes skating and reading, and is obviously in a band. He takes things pretty calmly and isn't malicious when teasing like when he comments on Blythe's dance in Helicopter Dad. So I think it's possible if they go about things the right way. There is also the fact that the best relationships usually start with friendships, my parents have been married for 16 years and they are bed friends with one another.

I wonder if Blythe would tell him about her ability to talk to animals.
A good twist would be if he is like Rio from Jem and the Holograms, and Blythe is to afraid to tell him the truth because she is afraid of how he will react, like the Synergy reactment of Rio's reaction in "Glitter and Gold" which is one of the funniest things seen for some reason, it is so over the top.

That would be pretty interesting even though I tried to watch Jem and The Holograms on multiple occasions but just couldn't get into it that would be pretty interesting to see in my opinion though.

I would definitely like to see it happen. I'm a real sucker for love interests in cartoons and it's part of what drew me to the show. It really disappoints me to find out that Josh hasn't made any new appearances since Helicopter Dad.
Season 2 could've been a good opportunity to explore the connection between him and Blythe but sadly it looks like he won't be making any appearances in this season. I hope they could feature him in at least one episode out of the remaining ones for this season. For a love interest character, Josh hasn't been given enough screen time and I think that's pitiful.
I agree with those who've said that they need to flesh him out more, hopefully reveal some faults he may have. I mean, he has a scar, right? Maybe they can go into how he got that scar and possibly use that as leverage for character development.

One plotline they could probably do, if the writers ever decide to make it happen, is one where Blythe and Josh have a sort of conflict with each other over something. Not sure what that conflict would be, but whatever it is could be resolved in the end and I guess it wouldn't hurt if there was some kind of moral to go with it.

Hard to say at this point. Especially since he didn't appear at all in season 2.

Who cares? I'd rather the pets go thru that kind of drama instead... And that wouldn't be easy to sit through, either.
In short, should we really care who gets into a relationship with whom, especially if it doesn't add much of anything to the show that needs more proper character development for those that matter in the end?
