"Sue Syndrome"
When I heard this episode was going to be Sue centric, I didn't really think I was going to like that much. I make no secret I don't care much for Sue, I don't hate her, she just doesn't interest me, she is miles below Yongmee as far favorites an just interesting characters, even Cora and Emma has prudential, that I don't see in Sue, that being said I really liked this episode mainly for the pet plot, but the Sue plot was okay.
They made Sue very relate able, fear of public speaking, I sympathies with her, and he reaction to public speaking was pretty funny, and the solution that was clever, though I rather they found a way for her to just get over public speaking, instead of finding a trick, a trick that reminds of Rainbow Dash in "Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3" so it loses some originality, but that is okay. It was a okay plot that did better that I thought it would be. I liked Sue better than I did before this episode, so that an accomplishment.
But the best part was the pet plot, that is the MVP of the episode, I loved how they teased what the plot would be about, at first it seemed it would be about Pepper's jealousy towards Mitzi, but they turned it around to be Mitzi and her problems, I love how quickly Pepper gets over what jealous she had and befriend Mitzi and helps out and becomes like a big sister.
I love the song, it was an awesome song, Ashleigh Ball and Tabatha St Germain was amazing singing in that voice.
The only problem I had, though I understand you needed it to move the plot, but the other pets they were acting kind of like jerks and not understanding they were making Mitzi uncomfortable.
All and all this episode was okay, I will give it a 8 / 10.

I thought "Sue Syndrome" was a surprisingly good episode. The Sue plot was sort of "meh" but at least they tried to give Sue some more character. The pet plot, however, was much better than I expected. At first, it seemed like it would be the age old cliche of Pepper simply being jealous of Mitzi and leaving it at that, but when Mitzi's true character was revealed it became a lot more interesting. It reminded me of "Suited For Success" from My Little Pony as well as "The General" from Pound Puppies. I loved it.
I especially like the song "A Skunk is a Skunk." Ashleigh Ball and Tabitha St. Germain compliment each other very well. I don't mind saying that I actually choked up a little, in a good way. Whenever Ashleigh sings that way, something about it just really gets to me on an emotional level.
Really good episode.

We get another Pepper episode here and it's one where get another skunk pet which automatically gives me a soft spot for this episode as I admit I love skunks. The guest pet, Mitzi, is a southern-belle-sounding skunk who is essentially a walking air-freshener. The other pets take an immediate liking to her scents, making Pepper a bit jealous of her taking the spotlight away from her comedy acts. This also leads to some neat fantasy scenes, including a beach scene, which is something I'd like to see more of in LPS; this show hasn't really gotten an episode that takes place at a beach yet.
I was afraid this would be another typical jealousy plot we see in a lot of cartoons, but we get a nice twist here. Mitzi is immediately concerned over Pepper's troubles and we find out that she has her own problems. We get a lovely song with Pepper and Mitzi both singing very beautifully here with Mitzi's side sounding a tad like a country song what with her accent and all. At this point the plot becomes a "let's help each other" story and we get some nice interaction between the two skunks. The visualizations of the smells are also well done here, especially at the end with the blending of both skunks scents and the rainbow-colored scent from Pepper.
This is all the pets' plot. The human plot...is just plain boring. Not much really happens here, it's basically just Sue constantly freaking out. We do get some shout-outs to previous episodes like Fun Russell and Alligators and Handbags, but this doesn't really mean much because they only reference their respective human plots, and neither of those episode had good human plots anyway. Resolution is nice, but it still doesn't make the overall plot that entertaining.
Overall, the pets plot is great, but the human plot left a lot to be desired.

Ahh, "Sue Syndrome"... Meh.
I'd consider this Mid High Tier at best - not bad, but not truly noteworthy, either.
TBH, Sue's just not an interesting character (as proven in the past by the overall even weaker material of Season 1, for example) to be devoting time to at all, IMHO. Yeah, been there, done that, done it better elsewhere... Real shame. Her part in the conflict wasn't as stupid / rage - inducting as I thought it would be. Just formulaic - and this late in the game, you just can't afford to do that when you're building up to your season finale, you know?
Seriously, I think the pet plot is the highlight of all this nonsense - and that one's flaw is that it just came off a bit mean spirited at first... Thankfully, things rebounded by the end.
Also, this particular episode (amongst others) is just an indication of why this show should have tried to utilize the 11 minute format at some points. That way the more interesting stuff isn't anchored down by weaker material that can easily be re-written or cut out for something better.

Wow, what can I say, this episode was gold~ The flashback scene for the episode opener was interesting, there were no boring human sub-plots, the guest pet was really cool, the concept taken from the movie 'Groundhog Day' really worked well here, we see all the pets doing everything, this was a Russell episode (okay, not exactly a positive, but he's my favorite character), and we get to see Russell's version of 'Dance Like You Know You Can' so it's a nice throwback to another great episode. This episode was chock full of positives! I'd rather not bother with every detail on how great this episde was, it's better you just see it for yourself~
We also find out that Russell was the second-to-last pet to join the day camp. I had no idea until now that most of the pets have been around the pet shop for years. Considering Mrs. Twombly's hair color in the flashback, the pets must be older than I thought... Now this is not a negative nor a nitpick, but rather something confusing: it's known that hedgehogs have short life expectancies (5-7ish years) so even if you assume the flashback scene took place 5 years in the past, it seems a little odd that Mrs. Twombly's hair would have such a short time to turn gray.
But whatever, I think it's unnecessary to look too deep into something unimportant in an otherwise great episode. Like I said, this episode had everything I could possibly want in an episode and I couldn't ask for better~ This is an episode I can actually watch again and again. I give it a 10/10.

I loved this episode. The flashback at the beginning was nice, Mrs. T had dark hair back than, I wonder how long was this flashback. It was a very cute flashback.
The episode was hilarious, I loved the bit with the balloon and the ice cream truck, the little girl is adorable, we keep seeing that over and over again to let us know what day it is.
Harold was a likable character, I thought Russell was a little rough with him at the beginning, he means well, he is not trying to cause trouble.
I loved Blythe's look in this episode, and the nature of the episode of each day over looping does make it so there can't be no subplot. Anyone else thought Blythe wearing the same outfit at the end, made no sense the time loop was broken.
And Russell he was hilarious going crazy, and than taking advantage of the time loop, it was sad when he realized he won't be seeing Harold again.
And credit to the episode that this is canon and not a dream, like other series might do.
This episode gets a 9 / 10, bring on the finale.

"In The Loop" is not one of my favorite episodes, but still decent I suppose. I'm not really a fan of time loop episodes because I think they tend to be annoyingly repetitive (that loose floorboard gag got really old really fast), but something I find even more annoying is the know-it-all who knows nothing. I could feel Russell's frustration with this guy. Something else I didn't like was how the others were once again being jerks and not to mention complete idiots.
There were some things I did like, though, like the opening flashback scene with most of the pets as little kids, which was interesting because Penny Ling wasn't there. Now that's some impressive continuity right there. I also enjoyed the sequence with Russell learning to appreciate his friends' interests and of course his rendition of "Dance Like You Know You Can," but honestly, I have to ask, what exactly was accomplished by the end? I didn't really get that. Personally, I'd like to know who that bat was.
So like I said, not really a big fan of this one, but I can't entirely hate it. Next week, the season finale with PetFest!

In The Loop - better than last week, but kinda lacking that special... Something to make it perfect. So close.
Well, I admit that it is nice to have Larson back writing an episode for this series (probably just this once, too... Sadly, to some people, I'm sure), but it's no God Tier material , like I bet anyone still watching this show (with overly high expectations, of course...) was expecting of him. But I did enjoy it enough to rank it as another successful High Tier effort for Season 3 and a nice step up from last week, without saying too much that hasn't been repeated already. Without saying too much, This is definitely one to see for yourself - and judge accordingly.

Anyone else thought Blythe wearing the same outfit at the end, made no sense the time loop was broken. I don't find this weird at all. I wear the same outfit, like, three days straight. In the Loop? Not as good as I had hoped, but still brilliant. I haven't seen Groundhog Day, but I know the time loop thing. (The Suite Life on Deck is the one thing I can think of that did it.) I liked the flashback at the beginning, which explains Seriussel, and was that a Gone With the Wind reference? (I found a clip of Rarity doing it, and everyone said it was a reference. Never seen it) However, the continuity error was agitating. Frenemies revealed that Zoe was #6, but now Russell is #6? Make up your mind. *groans* Dance Like You Know You Can by Zoe Trent feat. Russell Ferguson was cringe-worthy yet awesome. Timber!! *opens applause-in-a-can* And yes, Russell broke the fourth wall a few times. Namely at the end. I don't know what on earth is wrong with this episode. It's just missing that extra twing. But all in all, it's fabulous. 9/10.

I loved this finale! Even if it didn't have much build-up, it came out BEAUTIFULLY! A lot of stuff from the rest of the season paid off and the Biskits weren't a straight pain in the butt this time, so that was a plus. It was nice seeing Cashmere and Velvet again (they still didn't speak but at least we saw them). I really liked the music and Heidi was a lot of fun. It was great seeing all the human friends and allies from the past come together for this.
I don't know what else I can say other than it was an awesome way to wrap up the season.

"Pet Fest" season 3 finale
This was a great finale, was it epic not really, but it was enjoyment, it felt connected a lot of stuff from the season, which I like in a season finale, have a payoff to stuff you build up.
Yes Blythe was awesome here, she with the help of friends both human and pet put on this celebration for the bond between pets and pet owners. I loved how she was able over come her fan girl nervousness with the Soul Patches to get them to take part in the pet fest.
As for the pets, I love Heidi awesome guest camper, she reminds a bit of Sugar Sprinkles. And of course Zoey going to do overdue with being a diva, because that is what Zoey does. It was awesome that the pets through their own concert, though it gave me nightmare flashback to the Cosmic Toast Studios LPS web shorts since the web short is about the pets forming a band. Cool to see a lot of past pets, though we could have used more, where was Sugar Sprinkles, I know she might not have an owner but still, also some of my other favorites like Madam Pom, though Mary Francis was there, so yay.
Great that Blythe got help from everyone she knew, we even got Cora back, not to mention Sophie and Madison, Madison was funny in these episodes, and of course Youngmee, she is the co creator of the pet fest, so of course I can't forget her.
And Blythe even got help from the Biskits of all people, about time they pay her back for all the times Blythe has helped them out, but I don't know how to describe their role, they weren't antagonist, but not that emotionally invested in Blythe's cause, but they proved they are unreliable allies, so with allies like them who needs enemy. I blame Blythe as much as I blame the twins for their screw ups, I mean Blythe should know better than to rely on them, especially the second time, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, though they did come true the second time as people did know the location of the Pet Fest had been changed, so off screen the Biskits did do something right. And we got a Cashmere and Velvet cameo, perhaps they are regretting their life choice. I thought going into this episode, if the Biskits are in these episodes, their role would be Fisher Biskits thinks the Pet Fest is another LPS publicity stunt and the Biskit family try to sabotage it. So yes their role surprised me.
I don't know if I would call this redemption for the Biskits, it is not the level of Pacifica Northwest redemption in the "Northwest Mansion Noir", but I will say they should some development, the end of part 1 when they admitted they screwed up, that surprised me, that is a major development for them, the Biskits always thought of themselves as perfect, to admit they screwed up and take down the we can do no wrong, we are perfect wall, that is big. It is not "Northwest Mansion Noir", but maybe it is "Golf War", if I quote a line from that episode, it is some progress.
Vinnie and Sunil being bodyguard to endangered species, that so hilarious, I wonder if the indented audience know what endanger species are.
And the songs at the end, Daniel Ingram again delivers.
Anyone notice one of the bands names was Adam and the Spider Monkeys, obvious an inside joke to the creators of the show other series My Gym Partner Is A Monkey.
So much more to say, but if I said everything it would take for ever, but yay great episode. 10 / 10. So till season 4.

Ah yes, the Season 3 Finale - I was afraid of this, at first. Well, fear faced... For now.
I'll say this, as to not say too much (like I usually do!): I'm quite thankful this season ended on a High Tier Note. Most abundantly, seeing those stupid twins get their comeuppance at the end made it all worth it for me. Everything else was good, too. However, I feel this could have been God Tier, had their been a bit more buildup to get things truly going toward this - sure, it was hinted at in earlier episodes, but it just came out so fast. I know I'm over-analyzing, but some things like this don't happen all that fast, TBH.
Still better than Season 2's finale, I'll admit - Blythe's conflict and tension felt more natural and justified in comparison. And the payoff to the overall success feels equally as natural, too.
Here's hoping Season 4 can come close to this level of quality when it starts out - that's I can hope for, going forward.

Okay, so I'm late with this review, so I'm just gonna make this a quick one.
This was the best finale this series has had yet~ Part 1 was mostly just setting things up but Heidi Klum did a good job guest-starring as a guest pet and the song at the end was also great. Part 2 was where the fun really started though and it was a blast to watch! We got to see just about every character in the show, we got lots of continuity and the concerts with both the pets and the humans merging toward the end were some of the best ideas the show has ever done. It was better than Pet Expo and an excellent way to end an excellent season overall. I'm looking forward to season 4~
