I see they made a MLP romhack of Earthbound called Equestria Bound. I think the idea sounds a little farfetched as I don't see any connection between Earthbound and MLP:FIM (although I could give it a try and see) but it did get me thinking...
What if they made some romhacks of a few games to make them into LPS games? Which games would you like to see made with LPS characters? Which games or genres would be most compatible with the LPS universe? I'm thinking more along the lines of 8-bit/16-bit games but you're welcome to throw in some games from later generations.

Being pretty close to the Rom Hacking community myself, I could try to make an LPS romhack. I'm close to the community, but sadly the game I have most experience in hacking is Super Mario Kart on the SNES.  I suppose I could use the 7 main pets and Blythe. But then again, no. I did hack Pokemon in the past too, but quickly got bored of it because the game is massive. I suppose I could try again, mind. |

Wow, you're the same guy who created the Mario Kart 8 patch?! Awesome, I recently downloaded that! Loving the designs~ My niece loves playing Battle Mode with me so I always download every romhack that has redesigned battle levels.
If you ever feel like romhacking Mario Kart to have LPS characters, you'd have my support~ I also got my niece into LPS not too long ago.
You have the 7 pets, so that's 7 right there. Blythe seems like an obvious choice for an 8th racer, but considering she's human and therefore much larger than the pets, it would seem kinda weird to make her the same size as the pet racers. Maybe there could be another pet, but there'd probably be a lot of arguing over who that pet should be. Some might say Buttercream, some might suggest Sugar Sprinkles. I personally would like Phillipe but I know he hasn't made enough appearances to really justify being chosen over the recurring guest pets.

Seriously, Blythe would make an amazing heavy there.
The problem with another pet is exactly what you said. There's really no-one else that can take the place and as much as I would love to put both the Biskit Twins in one kart, I don't really see it being that great of an idea.
