I recently found out that Blythe Baxter is actually based on a doll of the same name that was originally created in 1972, which only sold for one year before becoming popular again by the Japanese in the early 2000's and eventually becoming part of the Littlest Pet Shop toyline in 2010. I never bothered with the LPS toy line so the idea of Blythe starting off as a doll is news to me, though I'm aware at least some of you are fans of the toys and might already be aware of the doll since 2010, though probably not the original doll or the subsequent pre-2010 doll lines. Here's a wikipedia link for more info: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blythe_%28doll%29

Littlest Pet Shop is overall pretty entertaining and a good fanbase to be socially invested in.

I already knew this. That Blythe is the name of a doll.

I actually posted an interesting article I found related to this a while back. I think it's in the merchandise section somewhere. Found it, it was in the forum where someone asked if there are Biskit dolls. Here is the article: www.thisisblythe.com/blythe_history.php
