New Episodes! S04, E01: The Tortoise and the Heir While Blythe ponders her life’s calling, a 150-year-old giant tortoise with an interesting past comes to the day camp and shares some life changing information with her. S04, E02: Pitch Purrfect Zoe enlists the pets to form a singing group to compete in the Alley Cappella championships; Blythe is too distracted by her mother’s journal to help search for Mrs. Twombly’s missing doorknobs. S04, E03: Ivan the Terrific Blythe helps Youngmee in her search for the perfect pet; the LPS pets in the day camp must deal with a circus bear. S04, E04: Senior Day Russell agrees to let his father Jerry move in with him; Blythe befriends an elderly woman who is eager to have Blythe meet her kindhearted granddaughters. Too excited. Officially too excited.

Littlest Pet Shop is overall pretty entertaining and a good fanbase to be socially invested in.

Well, I decided to skip over the last several posts there, that were talking about a certain human character.
Here's an issue I have about people talking about a new LPS show without humans:
What is the show called? Littlest Pet Shop.
Not only are they pets, but they are in a little shop.
I don't remember how much imagination Muppet Babies (or Baby Looney Tunes) was able to wring out of the limited, one-room or one-building setting. I know that, with Rugrats, the kids' parents were pretty much family, so whenever they took the kids places, they often brought them together. The LPS pets's owners are just long-term customers/clients; they probably don't even know the human owners of the other pets, if they even are aware of what sorts of animals their pets spend so much time with.
An emphasis on a human girl... meant that the pets got out for diverse adventures and were aware of and involved with someone who lived a much more different daily lifestyle than them.

Here's the problem - it seems everyone (except you and me) seems to really, REALLY hate this girl and just about all other humans on the show, unfortunately... Shit like this really makes me dislike this fanbase a little. Besides, as for my suggestions - the show would have to do a really good job with my suggestion for it to even work out, without becoming what you just successfully pointed out. In short, I'm actually glad someone has debunked my argument and sees it for what it is - a bunch of BS. LPS will never really work without humans, to be honest, as much as some of us (NOT you and me) want to believe on the internet..... And there are way worse female characters in TV out there than Blythe, so... Yeah. Why these people don't just stop watching what they don't like is anyone's guess. As it is, the only humans I hate on this show are those Biskit idiots, to be really honest.

My problem is that most of the humans have NOTHING to do with the pets besides Blythe and Mrs. Twombly. Blythe's friends don't have any pets, the Biskits didn't get pets until the THIRD SEASON. So you have these disjointed plots that jump between the pets and this teenager doing whatever. We've barely seen any of the pets' owners besides Zoe's. Penny's and Pepper's have made cameo appearances, and Russell's was just a reused background character! Yes, a show about a pet shop would need some humans, but not THESE humans.

Most of what you're suggesting be sold still won't improve this show like you think it will, to be honest.

No toy sales = no show. THAT... Is about most I can agree with - there just needed to be more balance. But that's about it, to be honest. More than anything, I'm waiting to see how they handle this first episode, now. Too bad I know that if it involves those idiot twins, it won't go over well. Now there's one way to improve human exposure in this show - get rid of those Biskit idiots, as well as balance things out for the true stars.

Moving on to episodes...
Zap2It has given out a synopsis. No title yet.
Blythe and the gang have a scary story telling contest while a severely jet-lagged Roger thinks he's living an actual nightmare as he desperately tries to make it home.
There's our Halloween special. They missed it by about a month.
Except it gives an airdate of yesterday, so...

The main plot sounds promising for what should be the Halloween episode, though. No lie nor doubt.

Mysterious Halloween Episode is entitled "Littlest Pet Shop of Horrors".
Episode 6: Game of Groans Russell's dream comes true when Blythe takes him, Vinnie and Sunil to the Renaissance Faire in Downtown City Park.

And... am I the only one confused as to why Delilah appeared in the Season 4 promo?

It will be interesting to have a Halloween like episode at the end of next month.

It will be interesting to have a Halloween like episode at the end of next month. IT would have made much more sense for that particular episode to premiere last Saturday, when it was Halloween... Sense no make to put if off like this.

That wasn't bad at all (and... this is keeping in mind that I'm not a really huge fan of musical fare on this show, or worse still, the one with Ponies, otherwise...). I wonder how well that the emotions expressed here would all fit into 4th season's 1st episode, however. Blythe does seem happy enough with what she's doing - which is all I can ask for with what's left of this show.
