What's the best season of the show so far in your opinion and why?
For me, it's Season 3. We got a nice status quo change, a nice finale, and everything in the season seemed to be geared towards the finale without us fully knowing it. This is also the only season where I didn't have to skip an episode due to beliefs. (S1: Door-Jammed. S2: Eight Arms to Hold You, Pawlm Reading, So Interesting, Shanghai Hi-Jinks, The Hedgehog in the Plastic Bubble.) I fond the plots to have improved too. Let's hope better for Season 4.
Your thoughts?

Season 3 > Season 2 > Season 1, hands down, IMHO, now that I look back at things and judge accordingly.
I can only hope Season 4 > Season 3 - that'll be a sign that this show is proving it's still worth going, despite all odds saying otherwise.

It's sort of the goal of every TV series to top each previous season with the next and if they can do that, I'd say that's a good sign.

Spoken for truth - problem is, every season should be memorable in a positive light. I don't fully feel as if we've gotten that feeling from this show, TBH. I mean, for as much as I praised Season 2 on here over Season 1 in the past, it's probably the most hated season of this show - but not without some good reasons. SOME. |

Not to beat a dead mini horse and make this comparison yet again, but Season 3 of LPS is the best LPS season, and is better than any one particular Season of MLPFiM. S3 finally got the formula down. S3 LPS knows what it wants to be more than any of the MLPFiM seasons.

Season 3>season 2>season 1
Here's how I see it:
Season 1 has mostly decent episodes with some good, few great, and few bad.
Season 2 has mostly good episodes, some great, few decent, but their are some episodes in this season that are awful.
Season 3 is mostly good, a lot great, and few decent or bad
I also like season 3 because it had more good and great episodes and because of tis it kept a more consistent quality than previous seasons.

Season 1 holds the best memories I have of the show. Season 2 had some good episodes, and Season 3 was just a disappointment for me.
I felt kind of an unremarkable start of the season with War of the Weirds, and then around episodes like Secret Cupet and it's poorly handled shipper pandering was around when I stopped watching. it had some good episodes like Sue Syndrome and In The Loop (despite how predictable it was), and the finale about the "Pet Fest" (read: toy sub-line) just didn't sound interesting to me at all. Season 3 has the most episodes I just skipped because they just didn't sound good. I mean, Blythe redecorates her room and a cat who can only say why? you must be joking.
