Zoe despises the song "Rust in Peace...Polaris" by Megadeth because of the line, "I spread disease like a dog." Vinnie sings it to annoy her.

Blythe's mom can understand animals, thus Blythe inherited that ability, and it was opened when she hit her head on the dumbwaiter in episode 1.

I think another thing that adds to Sunil's craziness over cobras beside the fact the cobra and mongoose are natural enemies he also had a bad turn with one. It makes him even more aggressive when he remembers the bad experience. His plush toy he sometimes throws around to get out his anger.
I have a few headcanons they're just on the top of my head.

One of my theories is that Blythe's ability is common in the LPS world, but not common enough for normal people to hear about it. Most people with Blythe's gift just keep it a secret, just like Blythe does. |

I also believe that the pets that aren't the best at their talents could trade places with another pets talent, and be good at it.

John and Clarissa own both Zoe and Gail but they love and talk about Zoe more which will come up in Season 2 and make Gail sad and jealous.
