This episode starts with Gail walking past in love and Zoey doesn't realize which sucks -.- although zoey does get her confused with others ;p Quite a good episode, and Jasper free aswell. Yay ;3 I thought so too, but people are telling me that is not Gail but Gail's look alike Tootise. Tootise and Princess Sorry from the pet pagent show, a gay couple that snuck past the censors. And yay Jasper free. The Jasper countdown is at 4, I think we can make it to 5.

"Hamster Hoods"
This was a very good episode. Not as good as last week of course, it is hard to top that. But I liked it, it is very solid. If you don't mind except for Vinnie and Pepper, the other main pets had very small roles.
Fisher is a smooth business man, even in time of crisis he takes the opportunity to get some free of advertisement. Poor Monbam he is was the wipping boy or whipping robot this episode.
So the stolen stuff ends up in the dumbwaiter, evidence to Blythe. I like that Blythe returned the merchandise even though it is from Largest Ever Pet Shop, if this was season 2 Blythe and the pets would probably keep the stuff because they are jerks screw them.
S.C.I. what is suppose to be a praody of, I am surprise that is not an actual show on Disney. The Biskits and there detctive stick was hillarous, I love their outfits, I guess Blythe is not the only one who can wear different clothes. I loved the good cop / sad cop
It seems to me Blythe and the Biskits they are friends without admitting or even knowing it. Blythe's reaction to their good cop / sad cop bit, it was an endearing expression, they were three little kids playing games. I like the way Blythe and the Biskits have evolved from enemies to subcontiously friends. Blythe doesn't hate them anymore. I like that. They don't hang out or will probalby never admit their friends, especiallyt he Biskits, but that is good enough.
So the theifs were hamsters, but unlike Tangler they did for good reasons, they weren't really villains. I love the Robin Hood fantasy, so far this is the closest we have seen the pets and the Biskits talk to each other in the fantasies, I am waiting for one day in which the pets and the Biskits talk to each other in one of these fantasies, obviously it can never happen in canon. I like these two guys, they remind me of characters from 1930's gangster movies. Again Pepper points out it is wrong to steel, so doing something wrong to LEPS is still wrong, in season 2 they wouldn't convey that message, you can do whatever you want to the Biskits family or LEPS because they are jerks and who cares.
Very clever to solve all the problems, Blythe thought quick on feet and found a solution to help all those pets and animals that needed those items, by convincing Fisher to donate his old merchandise, and LPS will do the same. So you have LPS and LEPS working together, it is a miracle granted for different reason, maybe there is hope for world pease.
And the ending with Fisher's reward, his reward was to give dog food all along what cheep skate, this season they are protraying as Scrooge McDuck, a rich penny pincher. First it won't hire actors for his commercial, and now this.
Good episode, the only negative was lack of the other 5 pets, though they got screen time in the fantasy. 9 / 10.

Okay, I thought this was a decent episode. Not much that really stood out, but a lot of interesting scenes here. It probably would've been a little more interesting if it had kept the whole detective mystery thing going a little longer, which would've also been a good opportunity to have another Cyril McFlip episode, but it quickly turns into a redistribution of wealth message, which is pretty odd to see in a kids cartoon. The one scene that was the most entertaining was the one with the Robin Hood imagination. Scenes like these are what the show needs more of IMO.
This episode gives Vinnie and Pepper a chance to interact together, which works okay, and I thought it was a little fascinating when they discovered an underground tube system that connected to Largest Ever Pet Shop. Kinda reminded me of Snatcher on Sega CD. The hamster thieves weren't all that interesting as they didn't do much besides talking but I did like their intentions. It brings up a few important societal issues and it was a good feeling to see how their wishes were fulfilled without bringing any harm in the end. What had been robbed turned out to be thrown-away items and it all gets donated. A pretty feel-good ending.
We see the Biskits here too and although there's a conflict between them and Blythe, it's mostly them just goofing around rather than competing with her. I liked how Blythe took them in stride this time instead of showing annoyed disdain for them. Their attempts to mimic some show called "S.C.I." (Super Cute Investigators) was rather lame and the only good that came of it was their neat-looking outfits. Equally lame were the scenes with Mrs. Twombly brushing up on her kung-fu quilting activities. While it's nice to see some continuity, I always thought it was a stupid gig so it's kind of a waste and could've been safely left out.
All in all an okay episode, though not enough to be high-tier IMO.

Sorry for the DP, though I think this is beyond the statute of limitation. I just had to share this theory I just thought of. Someone mention there seems to be a LPS and LEPS arc this season, and you know what I think if there is an arc involving the two pet shops, what the finale will be. I think perhaps in the finale a even larger pet shop will open and will be trobule for both LPS and LEPS, a larger pet shop owned by an evil cooporation that wants to rule Downtown City financial speaking of course, and the evil cooporate tycon have these compident really mean nasty daughters that make Whitney and Brittany look like saints, etc. You get the point, a third party shows up and there is a common enemy for LPS and LEPS, this episode could be forshadowing that, in the end techicnally LPS and LEPS are going to work together on a common cause, Blythe and Fisher shoke hands like they were two waring head of states signing a peace treaty, not to mention the Blythe / Biskit twin relationship that seems to be devlopping from complete hostile and hatred relationship to more tolerant of each other this season. I like the Walker brothers love allience of convience, so I am all for that.

Neat concept, but I doubt that's what the season/finale will be. Though if we do get another pet shop coming into the fray, what would it be called? Pet Shop Grande?

Neat concept, but I doubt that's what the season/finale will be. Though if we do get another pet shop coming into the fray, what would it be called? Pet Shop Grande? Well I thought for another, probably more fesable and true to the slice of life concept. A two parter. A lot will depend on how the episode "Two Pest For Two Pets", let's assume with the Biskits twins getting pets. A two part finale Part 1- the rivalary between Littlest Pet Shop and Largest Ever Pet Shop heats up to a fever pitch, To a point that both sides are spenting more effort trying to trash the other they promote their store in their commercial. The LPS pets and the Biskits pet chinchillas who are actually friends with the LPS pets get seperated from the humans as part 1 ends. Part 2- Blythe, Twombry, and the Biskits realise the pets are gone, when Twombry and Fisher try to blame one another Blythe yells at them both, saying it was because of their feud the pets are lost, after an insperation pets by Blythe. She, Twombry, and the Biskits fradictly search for the missing pets. Though an alternative idea I have for part 2 - Whitney and Brittany notices there pets are missing, and try to tell Fisher who ignores as he is so focues on his feud with Twombry and LPS, so they got seach for their pets on their own. Than Blythe and Twombry notices the pets are missing, Fisher notices Whitney and Brittany are missing, than Twombry and Fisher blame each other and get into another arguement when Blythe yells at them, and what happens in the version above happens. So one version has the pets, another version has the pets and the Biskit twins missing, and both version had Blythe be the adult and tell Twombry and Fisher they are acting like children.

...so... I wanted to talk about this like, right away when I saw it, but I did not get around to it, but... is that Gail TrentTootsie and "Princess" Stori? They are like, both confused for being girls, but are both dudes. If that is Stori, and Stori is not like, personally feeling like.. does not personally be a transgender pet, then... that is stealth queer. Gay gay gay! I think those are both male pets. They both don't have eyelashes, so I reckon they are the same gender. oh, yeah this is "Secret Cupet". EDIT: Dang, I meant to say Tootsie! Gail is the real sister! Tootsie is the guy who was mistaken for Gail.

I already made a post about this in the Characters board: littlestrpg.proboards.com/thread/308/tootsie-genghis-gay-coupleThose two are supposed to be Genghis and Tootsie. We know Tootsie from Gailbreak of course. Genghis is less known but he did appear in Bad Hair Day as the pet of that artist critic. He had no speaking roles, but with a name like Genghis and no eyelashes, it's safe to assume he's male. So yeah, what you see there are definitely two male characters.

:"Tongue Tied" review
Another excellent episode, season 3 is not disappinted me yet.
The musical number right at the beginning that throw me off, didn't expect him. LPS songs are mostly music videos, this was a musical number which is more see more in MLP. It felt like a tribute to Disney movies like Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella.
So all the pets know about Blythe's abilities, great but wake me up when a human knows. When will someone find out Blythe's secret, it has to happen one day, they have to change the status quo a bit if it wants to be on MLP's level.
I liked Blythe's outfit this week, so far all of Blythe's outfits have been great this season, just like season 3 in general.
So what pets did you see in the background today? I saw Mary Francis and Wiggles McSunbask, I am sure they are others.
Zoey and Russell get some screen time together, I am sure shippers will go nuts over that, though Russell and Penny had a moment here. Though I find the conflict a little silly because there is no tv show, it is just make believe, the pets can be so crazy sometimes. And in the end, Sunil save the days, Super Sunil strikes again.
I know the ferret was speaking korean form the beginning thanks to Adventure Time. Though Icesland was a nice guess Minka. And awsome job clearing up traffic Minka.
But the person that really saved the day and saved Blythe's bacon is Yongmee, way to step up. And now we know she is korean. But I really wish Blythe would just fess up and tell Yongmee her secret. This episode further added to the Yongmee is worthy of knowing, Blythe you are not a superhero, don't be such a jerk friend and tell her already. Hopefully this is a setup for later down the line for Yongmee to learn Bltyhe's secret, it better be.
And so 6 episodes in, no Jasper. We are Jasper free, 6 down 20 to go in the Jasper countdown.

Oh man, this was another AWESOME episode! Seriously, I'm having good feelings about this season!
The pets get plenty of screen time, we see lots of guest animals, including a cute ferret pet who speaks Korean (I had a feeling it was Korean before it was even revealed what language it was), we get to hear Youngmee and even Blythe speak Korean, and we also get a nice long fantasy scene with Russell, Zoe and Pepper pulling a Dr. Phil parody scene, and there's also some nice short scenes with Blythe's trying to understand Jebbie (the ferret).
Is anyone here Korean? I'd like to see a translation of all of Jebbie's lines. Even though I don't speak Korean, I liked hearing her voice which IMO sounded really cute. She may very well make my top 5 favorite guest pets list.
It was also nice to see Blythe and the pets act as shrinks for all the other animals, that was fun to watch. Speaking of Blythe, this is probably the first time I've seen her wear a skirt that extends down to her knees. I also thought it was interesting hearing her speak and learn Korean with Youngmee. Sounds like a cool language. The fantasy scene with the pet problems talk show was another nice treat and it went on for a long time which I really like since I feel this show needs more scenes where we get to see the pets either in human-like situations or just plain doing fun things.
Sunil's supportive speech to the animals about living with their problems was just heartwarming. Setting things right in the end, he turned out to be the smart pet here whereas Russell came off as being a little too much of a conceited smartass; I think his increasingly closer friendship with Zoe is starting to rub on him. I'm starting to like Sunil more than Russell.
The ending really had me on the edge of my seat... The moment where you think Youngmee has finally learned about Blythe's secret, and I think this would've been an appropriate episode for that to happen, but it turns out she assumes the secret was to travel to Korea with her... Awww... :< But at least it hints at a possible future episode where Blythe may actually travel to Korea with Youngmee which sounds like it'd be another interesting episode, and it might even foreshadow the possibility that Youngmee might yet actually find out about Blythe's ability. Here's to hoping.
The only negative I can think of for this episode is they made Minka totally ditzy in this episode. Despite it already being made obvious that Jebbie's Korean, Minka kept thinking she was "Iceland-ish". The joke was just way overused throughout the episode and it got old really fast. At least Minka made herself useful near the end by helping Blythe reach the airport on time.
Writers, for the sake of the show, please please please keep this up! I'm loving the way this season is shaping up. I swear when I read the synopsis for this episode, I thought it would've been run-of-the-mill or boring, but instead it turned out to be majorly entertaining~ This goes to show that you should never judge the outcome of an episode by its synopsis.

Well if they go to Korea, let's make sure it is South Korea. Stay away from the north.
So Method Man you said Russell is was conceited this episode. You think Russell is as conceited as Brian Griffin?

Mentioning "Korea" alone and not referring to the northern counterpart is pretty much a given; nobody wants to think about North Korea.
I've only watched half the episodes of Family Guy so I can't really give an informed opinion, but going by what I have seen, Brian Griffin may have his ugly side, though for some reason I can't bring myself to hate him. Many of his acts of asshattery are mostly due to him being what many would call "being human" (which is ironic considering he's a dog) and he does have a few redeeming qualities which is enough for me to sympathize with him to some extent. But again, I could be wrong about his character since I haven't seen every episode.
As for Russell, I think he was too concerned over his appearance and kept trying to advertise that book. Whereas Brian is more like Mandy from Billy and Mandy, Russell is more like Double D from Ed, Edd and Eddy (he's even voiced by the same actor, Sam Vincent), and, dare I say it, he was even a little like his own version of Jasper in this episode.
